From a 2D texture to a 3D surface. I designed this seamless rock pattern in Affinity, brought it to life in Blender, and hit print. ​Together with this Gundam model, it looks pretty epic. This base piece can also interconnect to a larger modular display.

Testing out a nice origami texture print. While the initial cardboard mounting had a bit of flex, the concept works pretty well. This opens up possibilities for my modular panels to mix with prints. Just ask Luffy, he thinks he looks pretty cool. 😅 #OnePiece #blindbox #Display

I have spent a lot of time the last few days obsessing over measurements and testing different versions of support. I am looking at fractions of a millimeter to make sure the fit with this Pop Mart card is perfect. These tiny refinements are what make a display feel premium.

3D printed the black tiles to form a checked surface plate. Having these smaller tiles gives options to mix and match the colours to the character design theme. #3dprinting #figurine #modeldisplay

A quick update, did a print test of the rails, basically this can be slotted into any of the side base plates. Unfortunately there are a few stringing areas, and I will have to go back into Blender to make more refinements. #3dprinting #modular #modeldisplay

Stacked up the modular display with the pieces I’ve 3D printed! I’m feeling inspired to model some cool props to attach to the plates and make it look even super cool. For now, I’m using what I have to build this floating platform so you can get a 360 view of these Gundam models.
