The blockchain is immutable, so contracts will run forever. If devs, not owned by cronos/cryptocom, keep maintaining and improving their dApps, they can't be shutdown. So only dApp owned by Cronos/Cryptocom can be shutdown if they like to. If your dApp is depending on certainty services of possible shutdown dApps or contracts, then you need to know in time for sure...

The "- No planned changes to apps with any activity on the EVM; there may be some no brainer incredibly inactive ones to address" double down on the fear of "closures" How do we classify 'incredibly inactive" ? And if Orby closed which was/is still highly used, what can we expect the next apps to be closed to be ? The problem is not anymore developments, updates or timelines.
