As a new owner of a silicone hood for the first time, the 101 guide on it is essential reading! Very comprehensive, surprisingly interesting and incredibly useful. (And of course delightfully illustrated.) Feeling a lot more comfortable with knowing I won’t destroy it now!

@SpunkyMonkeyJay The latest trigger is the election outcome emboldening all the worst on this app to be openly far worse, more numerous and harder to avoid… the fact the app is run by a prominent instigator doesn’t help. Recent policy changes also suck. I just don’t want to be here anymore.

@BoyinDemand96 Oh this is a great tip- I’ve been addicted to mine, but yes, having it close when my mouth shuts wouldn’t be ideal for sleeping :P

This might look strange from the outside though! But for me training to sleep face sealed in a mask like this it's sooo worth it!

If you do end up permanently bonded and need to sleep with this mask on - I have found that if you invert the mouthpiece and push it out, it then makes it sooooo much easier to breathe and sleep sealed safely inside an inky black cocoon of silicone 😈😍🥰

@Jason_Duress It really is. Utterly addictive- total darkness and the mouth insert is excellent for being just ‘hole’ - I shall post some of my throat related exploits later.

I enjoy that as a guy with a shaved head, I can squeeze the ears and they stay like that - feels nice on the head too, makes the ears more present in mind in the blackness👌
