@plutovelvet Fr.. rent is tomorrow have been living basically paycheck to paycheck for the last couple months but I got a raise today that will tremendously
The past 2 weeks of my life has been nothing but a rollercoaster of immense anxiety, depression, happiness, and worry and it’s 99.5% about money i should end it all
shoutout books for making me who I am today - I wouldn't be as happy or successful in streaming, comp play or life in general without them so heres my recommendations! PRESS READ MORE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!
and as much as im an advocate for therapy after doing it for 2 years, you can honestly skip it if you're able to grasp these ideas & apply them as soon as you finish them. Therapy was more like the entrance to self help, finding purpose & contentment - it was there when I was going through a lot & helps you structure your thoughts and reflect properly. (because everything you want comes from proper self reflection)
- Miguel Ruiz: The Four Agreements
Personal favorite book
helped me realign whats actually important in a world full of materialistic bullshit & noise, and helped me be more honest to those that I love without fear of unfavorable outcome or disappointing expectations.
Basically rid me of most my insecurities and overthinking mindset & made me think about my own values & boundaries
Eckhart Tolle: Power of Now
Helps me stay at peace as much as I can especially in worrying times with current world events. I revisit some chapters often and the audio book version is great to help you speep (his voice is soothing af) Gave me lots of insight on religion & how it all ties together into the importance of the present. Touches on Buddhism, Christianity, and some others in a way that helps me better understand religious people. Also helped me get over traumas and forgive myself/others for things that happened in the past, which is the first step to growth. Shoutout kendrick lamar for putting me on him through Mr Morale & the big steppers, my fav music album oat
How to win friends and influence people
genuinely a good book that teaches you how to be a better listener & makes social interactions enjoyable vs being "small talk"
Made me less of an introvert which is nice, and is definitely key to creating new meaningful bonds whether for business or friendship. Made me more smiley & positive.
The courage to be disliked
definitely the most easily digestible and would recommend reading first, its read as a conversation which keeps it interesting - and answers lots of questions that you may be having about enlightenment and philosophy. Helped me personally to better communicate with & help others who suffer with problems like insecurity, fear of failure, and self hatred in a way that is coherent. Also just the concept of trauma "not existing" was so interesting to me considering its the thing holding everyone back it feels like
anyways, those are just my top books. some others like inner game of tennis, think & grow rich, rich dad poor dad, are pretty decent but are significantly more unimportant than the topics covered by these books (in my opinion)
Because if you have self love, live in the present & self reflect properly I don't see how you wouldn't reach your REAL goals & find fulfillment.
Im always open to more book recommendations feel free to lmk
I am completely obsessed with Mirage right now.. I’m not even playing, yet I’m sat here thinking about what items to swap in and out. Full on Mirage brain worms!
so genuine question
does any Holliday main play with default ability/melee key binds?
i cant imagine doing the holliday barrel combo by hitting 1 -> Q
C -> M4 feels so much cleaner
If you havent already i recommend binding your melee to a mouse button for Holliday
Are you ready for a NEW kind of hero shooter? (Big tank man, serious sniper, healer woman, ninja) How about a fresh TWIST on the genre? (Big tank man, serious sniper, healer woman, ninja) Or something completely DIFFERENT (Big tank man, serious sniper, healer woman, ninja).
