I've been sitting on this for a couple of days sorry, I've been sick and a bit out of it mentally 😭 but yeah I've talked about this before in relation to like iggychu I think, I'll try to elaborate:

Arthur to me is a Father. His children compete for his attention, but he finds fault in everything they do. He lacks the emotional mother-child bond and thus has to establish his authority through force. He's more prone to physical violence as opposed to emotional manipulation.
