jaehyun reading a book called ‘끌림’ by lee byungryul 📚 🐶 this is a book i often read when i’m working, so i’ll read you a few lines i like. 💌1️⃣ “youth is full of things that get in the way. being told ‘don’t do that’ so often it feels like your ears will harden into scabs ends up making it impossible to feel, to meet, or to have what you want. but even so, there are things you have to feel, people you have to meet, things you have to fight with everything you have to hold onto, and because of that, you have to be happy. that is youth.” 🐶 there’s this passage, and i really like this page. it feels like a boynextdoor song 😏 💌2️⃣ “there’s a bird that lingers for a long time in front of a beautiful view before leaving. it carries that scenery in its heart as it lives on, and when it finally meets its mate, it takes them back to that place with the beautiful view and lives there for the rest of its life, until it dies there. it’s beautiful, but slightly sad story.” 🐶 i really like passages like this. 💌3️⃣ “there’s always just one answer. face whatever comes. / let things be as they will. / i’m not afraid. / this is also fate. there’s a phrase in latin that can express all of this in one line, ‘Que Sera, Sera.’” 🐶 i really like this latin phrase, so i even thought about making a song based on it.
