I draw an awful lot of characters in chokers, considering that I, personally, can't stand having something hugging my neck.

Fun fact: I talk a lot about finding symbolism in my work after the fact, seeing my subconscious add stuff I didn't know I'd want. I swear, making the hover armature gold was a totally arbitrary choice at the time. Giving Lee/Nina a halo was not intended.

The true fantasy of a Holmes/Watson dynamic is not being an eccentric supergenius, it's having an allistic friend who handles all your social and financial and administrative bullshit and asks for nothing in exchange but to admire you while you do your special interest stuff.

I mean, it's not *wrong*, per se. Unlike some cartoon characters I could name, she's not grotesque or uncanny-valley IRL. Hue aside, she'd turn heads, not trigger fight-or-flight. It is really obvious, though, that's she's... uh... had work done.

Out of curiosity, I sketched out (most of) an actual life-size Bellina, and.. it's one thing to just say or draw "five feet tall (not including hair or heels) with boobs the size of her head", it's another to encounter what that scale actually *is*, relative to yourself.
