@drakefan92 one of my Christmas presents when I was around 12 was one month of obc and I felt like the coolest person on earth for that duration

@craterchains The algorithm is so aggressive that if you aren’t constantly blocking and muting you’ll keep being shown it (in my experience) so I’ve just gotten into the habit of blocking over the littlest of things like seeing something I don’t care to interact with
English

@mythra_lover @complete_phased You’re better off arguing with a brick wall because at least it’ll articulate its point better
English

@complete_phased @tapucocoaa keep in mind Netease invested $100M in Bungie for this
$13M is not a lot, and Destiny in its current state isn't recuperating anything.

@complete_phased Which means the game struggles to maintain an active playerbase so they changed the monetary foundation to maintain player retention in hopes the BP, Silver Shop, and character dupes increase revenue? If the queue times didnt give that away this new system for sure does!
English

@tapucocoaa You mean the free copy you have to grind the whole entire season to get with RNG shards that take weeks to get enough of?
English

@complete_phased a reprised raid with reused assets (guess what S4 primarily uses?) and 3 new modes that immediately were DOA because the core gameplay was not fixed and people complained since launch. It was a nothing burger update outside of that raid. (Vaulted now btw)
English

@tapucocoaa Season 3 literally had 3 new modes and a new raid. so what do you mean it didnt have significant content. Also again you are arguing a completely different point than what I was talking about.
English

@complete_phased Yeah Netease knows how to monetize Rising so well that they happened to change their revenue stream of relying on whales to get new units and just made them free for the first copy. You have gone into absolute delusional territory
English

@tapucocoaa Bungie does not know how to monetize D2. NetEase for all its faults knows how to monetize DR. Knowing how to monetize your game doesnt mean your game is going to make money. But the difference is that DR is constantly improving while D2 is constantly on the decline.
English

@complete_phased Literally every season outside of the newest season and launch had little to no actual substantial content and this new season had to overhaul many systems which is VERY clear signs that things are not good. This is common sense. I have played the game for every season
English

@tapucocoaa If DR was not making money after almost 6 months we would be seeing a decline in content and hints at the eventual shut down of the game like any other gacha game. But DR is making money. Its just not so financially successful to be notable. But still better than D2.
English

@complete_phased You make your stance on the point that D2 doesn't know how to make money by implicating Rising does. I simply replied by saying Rising doesn't know how either. I cannot fathom how you are saying im arguing a point you never made lol
English

@complete_phased Then you're bad at making your points clear because you quite literally say "Rising makes money that it then puts into the game" which it has had trouble doing since launch and still struggles to do to the point of changing it's revenue model.
English

@complete_phased and if you want to even make the comparison, then both are doing bad at making money, which is what I was originally stating
English

@tapucocoaa Not really they are both live service games. The difference is their money making model.
