I’m more curious as to why Steelers fans seem to prefer a better deal to a better player. Is a proven commodity preferable to a first-round pick?

@MarkMaddenX I understand why you’d think that, but Pittman was successful with guys like Rodgers past their prime. Waddle actually had a QB who would make something happen outside of the pocket, which is waddle best strength. Neither will be close to a WR1 without a top 15 QB.

As this continues to unfold, the Steelers are showing they really like Spencer Anderson.
The Steelers have had urgency to fill other needs all offseason, which says something to me.
He’ll almost certainly at least have a chance to win the starting LG job.

@ZPSteelers2 DK will be fine. MPjr will take a lot of pressure off him & hopefully Pitt can snag a WR 2/3 rd. Also loved Gainwell but Dowdle an upgrade and will let warren be more of what gainwells role was last year.
