@0x45o My job is to increase unregretted time spent. Every tap, every word must be intentional and valuable to the user. If you get sucked into bad content, that’s time taken away from a conversation you could be having elsewhere.

@elonmusk @AdamLowisz BTW something like Claude's project memory is needed for Grok. Projects arent just about collections of conversations but context that should be shared within the project.

I fear that AI has decimated the traditional email inbox as we know it. Too many personalized emails slip through spam filter. Hope someone builds a better mousetrap. This one is cooked in its current form.

The media is running a story today about how a Cybertruck “allegedly” crashed on a Texas highway. Spoiler alert, the crash happened while the human driver was in control. The law firm, which is seeking $1 million, says that last summer Justine Saint Amour was driving her Cybertruck with Autopilot engaged. There’s just one problem — Autopilot is a legacy lane keeping system that never shipped on Cybertruck. The driver then admits that before the crash they disengaged the system and started driving manually. Indeed, the video shows the truck starting to turn before the driver disengaged and drove into the wall. Tesla hasn’t officially responded to the lawsuit yet, but available telemetry indicates the driver probably wasn’t paying attention, got startled, and crashed. There doesn’t seem to be any attempt to steer back towards the on-ramp in the video, rather you see the trajectory change from turning with the ramp to driving straight into it. When you crash your car, people tend to put blame on anyone but themselves. A high profile company like Tesla, with a CEO who is the wealthiest man on Earth? Yeah, they kinds of BS lawsuits happen often. Let’s wait for more data and discovery to take place, but based on the evidence i’m seeing so far that doesn’t look like something FSD — even an older V13 — would do.

🤯BREAKING: Alibaba just proved that AI Coding isn't taking your job, it's just writing the legacy code that will keep you employed fixing it for the next decade. 🤣 Passing a coding test once is easy. Maintaining that code for 8 months without it exploding? Apparently, it’s nearly impossible for AI. Alibaba tested 18 AI agents on 100 real codebases over 233-day cycles. They didn't just look for "quick fixes"—they looked for long-term survival. The results were a bloodbath: 75% of models broke previously working code during maintenance. Only Claude Opus 4.5/4.6 maintained a >50% zero-regression rate. Every other model accumulated technical debt that compounded until the codebase collapsed. We’ve been using "snapshot" benchmarks like HumanEval that only ask "Does it work right now?" The new SWE-CI benchmark asks: "Does it still work after 8 months of evolution?" Most AI agents are "Quick-Fix Artists." They write brittle code that passes tests today but becomes a maintenance nightmare tomorrow. They aren't building software; they're building a house of cards. The narrative just got honest: Most models can write code. Almost none can maintain it.

Based on the data I see, I think: - Anthropic🇺🇸/Google🇺🇸/OpenAI🇺🇸 all ~tied - Meta🇺🇸 / xAI🇺🇸 each ~7mo behind - Moonshot🇨🇳/- Deepseek🇨🇳 / zAI 🇨🇳 / Alibaba🇨🇳each ~9mo behind - Mistral🇫🇷 ~1.5 years behind - No other companies competitive

Both xAI and Meta seem to be falling behind, based on the Grok 4.2 benchmarks and this reporting. Frontier AI models are really a three way race at this point.

Today we are revising our Creator Revenue Sharing policies to maintain authenticity of content on Timeline and prevent manipulation of the program. During times of war, it is critical that people have access to authentic information on the ground. With today’s AI technologies, it is trivial to create content that can mislead people. Starting now, users who post AI-generated videos of an armed conflict—without adding a disclosure that it was made with AI—will be suspended from Creator Revenue Sharing for 90 days. Subsequent violations will result in a permanent suspension from the program. This will be flagged to us by any post with a Community Note or if the content contains meta data (or other signals) from generative AI tools. We will continue to refine our policies and product to ensure X can be trusted during these critical moments.

Mel Gibson’s raw faith after losing his Malibu home in the devastating 2025 Palisades Fire shines through in this Jan 2025 interview: “God gives, God takes. We come in with nothing. We go out with nothing. Seek first the kingdom of God — and you’ll always be okay.” Amid the ashes, he finds gratitude in his father’s favorite Matthew passage: “Look at the flowers of the field… the birds of the air… they get fed, they get clothed. Stop worrying about money, about stuff.” Gibson calls the loss a blessing and purification — a painful reset that reveals what truly endures.“I got a lot of faith… not in our elected officials.” No rage, no despair — just unshakeable trust that what’s needed will come, even in total loss. In our fragile world, his message is a beacon: Faith turns devastation into deeper strength. What loss in your life revealed an unexpected blessing?

Apple will either acquire this or sherlock it within 18 months. They can’t let a third party own the fastest path from idea to App Store. Rork just abandoned their entire React Native stack for native Swift. This company raised $2.8M from a16z building cross-platform apps from prompts. Rork Max throws that away and bets everything on Apple-native. That’s a complete technical pivot, not an iteration. The “replaces Xcode” line is the real announcement. Xcode is a 21-year-old IDE that Apple has zero competitive pressure to modernize. Every iOS developer complains about it. Nobody builds against it because Apple controls the entire toolchain from compiler to App Store submission. Rork is betting that Claude Code can generate Swift well enough to bypass that monopoly entirely. The timing tells you something. They chose Claude Code and Opus 4.6 over GPT-5, which means they tested both and Anthropic’s code generation won for native Swift output. That’s a live benchmark result disguised as a partnership announcement. If Rork Max can actually one-shot native Swift apps for iPhone, Watch, iPad, TV, and Vision Pro from a browser, the IDE, the build system, the simulator, the provisioning profiles… all of that complexity collapses into a website. There are 34 million registered Apple developers. Most of them hate Xcode. Rork just showed them the exit, and Apple can’t afford to let someone else own the door.

Introducing Rork Max AI that one-shots almost any app for iPhone,  Watch, iPad,  TV &  Vision Pro. Even Pokémon Go with AR & 3D. Max is a website that replaces Xcode. Install on device in 1 click. Publish to App Store in 2 clicks. Powered by Swift, Claude Code & Opus 4.6.

The Biblical Man | 4 AM Field Notes
I was in Bible college the week before 9/11. Testimony service. Folding chairs. Fluorescent lights. Mandatory attendance. Everyone expected the usual: clean stories, safe sins, spiritual résumés. Then a tattooed giant walked to the front with his wife. Former heroin addict. Former bouncer. She’d worked the streets. Met him through her pimp. Both of them gripping Bibles like flotation devices. They sang. Badly. Then he preached for five minutes. No polish. No structure. No seminary cadence. The hermeneutics professor winced. The English teacher checked the clock. But the altar filled. Heaven moved while the educated missed it. That moment never left me. Because it exposed something most Christians don’t want to admit: God does His best work in people who are still a mess. That’s why Jelly Roll scares the industry. Pills. Prison. Years burned down. Then he grabbed the Grammy mic and said the one name you’re not supposed to say out loud if you want to keep a career. “I love you, Lord.” The crowd cheered. The suits froze. They always do. Because God isn’t finished with him yet. And unfinished people are dangerous. Moses wasn’t Moses overnight. He saw an Egyptian beating a Hebrew. Rage took over. Looked left. Looked right. No witnesses. So he killed him. Buried the body in the sand. Forty years later he’s still running when the bush burns. Still seeing blood on his hands. “Who am I?” he asks. God sends him anyway. Not from murderer to hero. From murderer to man still being worked on. Paul didn’t become Paul overnight either. Stephen preached. Rocks flew. Skulls cracked. Coats piled at Saul’s feet while he approved. Years later, after writing half your New Testament, he’s still begging God about a thorn. God doesn’t say, “You’re finished.” He says, “My grace is sufficient.” Your Bible reeks of in-progress redemption. Exodus doesn’t hide the murder. Acts doesn’t hide the coats. KJV. No polish. No PR team. That tattooed couple went home after chapel. Monday came. Cravings stayed. Memories stayed. God stayed. Jelly Roll will wake up tomorrow with the same demons and the same industry pressure to shut up. God will still be working. You’re not disqualified. You’re under construction. Same clay. Same Potter. Same wheel. Build anyway. Fall anyway. Get up anyway.

New Testament can be tested by exactly the same methods that scholars use to test any other ancient document. Historians can compare manuscripts in different languages from all around the Mediterranean world—Egypt, Syria, Turkey, Greece—to see how widely the texts diverge from one another. If variations are minor, then the texts were copied accurately and the version we have today is close to the original. And that is exactly what historians do find. Consequently, they have been able to reconstruct the original text with about 99.5 percent accuracy. There is no evidence that the New Testament texts were doctored or that legendary material was added later. Then there’s the age of the texts. We have some 5,800 Greek manuscripts (including many fragments) and over 24,000 total early manuscripts of the New Testament in existence, the earliest dated to around A.D. 125. Compare that to other ancient texts. We have only about ten copies of Caesar’s Gallic Wars, and the earliest is from about one thousand years after it was first written. With Plato and Aristotle, we have even fewer copies, and the time gap is even longer. Yet no one doubts the authenticity of the classical writers. By normal objective standards of historical scholarship, the New Testament text is incredibly accurate. There is nothing else like it in the ancient world. (from Saving Leonardo)
