I know everyone’s been wondering what happened, so let me get straight to it. Y’all know I’ve been a Lauryn fan for years, which is why what went down last night/early this morning hit different. I’m not sugarcoating anything — she messed up badly. Seeing her on stage with Kanye, knowing everything he represents and everything she’s stood for and called out for the past 30 years, felt hypocritical. I’m disappointed. Shocked, honestly. Not crying, not spiraling — just stunned. And I’m not defending or aligning myself with her anymore. That’s where I stand. I’m always going to tell the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable.
