When attraction is rare, you romanticize it. When you're attracted to people very rarely, the experience feels incredibly profound when it finally happens. Almost unbearable. Your mind wants to explain the intensity, so it invents meaning. It starts telling a story. There must be something special about them. This must be fate. This must be the universe trying to tell me something. But that feeling isn't evidence of a cosmic signal. It's just what scarcity does to perception. It's just your brain making sense of something it doesn't experience often. The rarity isn't in the person. It's in your response.
