@ShannonVallor This often forgotten joy makes me want to make tech less awful. I think reclaiming this feeling requires divorcing tech from capitalism, but I have no idea how to do that.

@ShannonVallor Thank you for articulating an idea that's been rattling around my head too! I don't think it's nostalgia. I still feel this joy, like when I create silly programs to generate memes for my friends or when I finally understand the innards of an initially mysterious machine.
