I’ve decided to step up and stand as a local councillor for the Green Party in May.
I’m standing in a current conservative ward, with a strong Reform presence. However, I believe Greens can win anywhere.
It’s time for a politics of hope and unity.

It’s funny being lectured on energy security by people who decided to become experts in North Sea oil & gas two weeks ago.
If policymakers had have listened to folk like me about the importance of demand-side energy measures years ago, we wouldn’t need a single shipment of gas.

There’s one big problem with Trump and Hegseth’s press conference about the “rescue” mission:
Video released by Iran clearly shows several downed US aircraft and a dead body of an American soldier.
This directly contradicts what Hegseth just said that no American soldiers died.
