someone messaged me with the tweet I shared a year back asking if they should do the same, the person is already juggling 2 internships. here's my honest advice: 1. don't 2. i say don't not because I regret doing this. I don't, all of these are the sole reason I earn well right now but your health should be a number one priority. 3. i wrote somewhere "sleep was never an option" which was the stupidest advice I could've given. your body needs sleep, you've no idea what a proper sleep schedule does to your body. Sleep at least 6-7 hours a day. 4. i barely had any friends, my gf at the time left me saying I was too selfish and I agree. you will believe being antisocial and a lone wolf is a good thing but it's not. 5. i used to have an insane amount of headaches at random times which sometimes resulted in me falling sick for weeks. 6. I had a pretty decent physique which got fucked up in between all of these and I still haven't recovered half of it 7. this is highly illegal btw, you are not allowed to work at multiple places. in my case 3 of the founders/professors know I was working at other places as well so they didn't mind and others I had to lie to(not very proud about this) but yeah don't try this without prior permission even after all this if you still believe that working 17-18 hrs a day non stop for months at a time and prioritising work/money over everything is the path you should take then go for it. just ensure you take care of your health in the process.
