i became good at pretending. i became so good that after a while the lines blurred between my truth and fiction. and sometimes， when i did a really good job of pretending， i even fooled myself.

( grounding. see, touch, hear, *smell.. ) that’s—.. i’d appreciate that. it goes both ways. i’m a therapist, so it’s what i’m good at.

the layout feels vaguely familiar . . . like I’ve been here before. more than once. like I’ve lived here my whole life ﹠ know every little nook ﹠ cranny while simultaneously not knowing a damn thing. is that normal? but —— there’s a throne. chairs. lots of ‘em.

I don’t know, does the buzzing from the overhead lights exist outside of that place? because if so, I might just be in the basement. * 🧎‍♀️‍➡️

life lesson: do not become a valuable asset at work. you’ll be required to film some buuuuullshit ﹠ end up in the void.
