I woke up with an idea I want to try, you know how people sometimes catch images of aircraft against the sun? Well I think I can make some predictions on good places to get those images, the BDEGA.4 arrival sends airliners over a specific GPS fix at an altitude of 11,000' so, by figuring out where the sun is and projecting where the shadow should be I can get times and places to be where the planes will be casting shadows.... Now I just need a free day to go and try doing this.
