Today is when you want to keep the actual date of something, for example, logs or tracking other non-variable dates. WorkDate is for transactional dates where the user can determine when it occurred. For example, "Last Modified Date" would be Today because you want to log the actual date.

#bcalhelp just curious. how do you decide whether to use WorkDate() vs Today()?

@drimmelzwaan It seems quite subjective to each developer. That's why I want to know if there is some sort of best practice for this.

@tnavguy You ask the people for whom you are building the software. Depends on whether they want to be able to process the transaction based on Today() or WorkDate()

#msdyn365bc I wish I could do a gitBlame for this. It blocks any ability to pass the filter from the page to the new report substituted via report selection. if you dont want a report to get replaced, dont put it into the report selection please.

@drimmelzwaan I have several occasion where debugger got disconnected. Never tried reload. What I normally do is to use the “Attach Debugger to this session” to start debugging again.

Hey #BCALHelp is it normal for SaaS sandboxes to randomly disconnect while debugging? Any keystrokes or clicking UI elements I should avoid? Some days the debugger stops before I step through a single line. Have to reload VSCode to get it 'working' again. VERY annoying
