@HMRCcustomers Since 2024 I can't access my Tax due to someone trying to hack my government Gateway account I have called,sent letters but they always tell me they will rectify it but is still the same

@HMRCcustomers I wish they would stop sending out letters saying there is an outstanding penalty when in fact there isn't. The stress it causes is unnecessary. Tried calling them, won't transfer calls, the Gateway messages remain unanswered. #furious

@HMRCgovuk I registered for self assessment early December and still not received UTR through the post - deadline is 31st Jan Website said to expect to receive it in 10-15 days via the post No phone line or email No reference number when I registered how do I proceed?

I have been holding for 56mins on 0300 200 3310 @HMRCcustomers. filling in self assessment return but there's an error on the 'Tailor Your Return' with no option to correct. The form will simply not save. It's the only section where it is happening. Help! 58 mins is long enough
