Drop-in COVID-19 vaccination clinics are available for people 18+ living in the NHS Lothian area. Anyone over 18 can attend a clinic for their 1st or 2nd dose without an appointment. More info at nhslothian.scot.

If you are aged 50+ or have a chronic health condition and haven't had your 1st covid vaccination yet, now's your opportunity. We are running clinics at Tranent Health Centre on 29 and 30 June for anyone in these categories. Call 0300 790 6277 after 10:00 to make an appointment.

NHS Lothian is running a drop-in covid vaccination clinic for people aged 40 and over at East Lothian Commmunity Hospital in Haddington this weekend (June 12 & 13). No appointment is necessary, just turn up on the day to get your first or second covid vaccination.

Tranent Health Centre will be closed on Friday 2nd April and Monday 5th April, for the Easter public holiday. For urgent medical assistance during this period patients should call NHS24 on 111, or phone 999 in the event of a life-threatening emergency.

Patients who received their 1st covid vaccination from the practice in JANUARY should contact us now to book their 2nd dose (please phone 10:30 to 16:30 for this). We are not taking bookings from patients vaccinated in February and March as yet. More info soon for these patients.

It was a busy Saturday morning at Tranent Health Centre, providing covid vaccinations to our patients aged 80 and over. Next up, our patients aged 75-79 and those shielding....

Patients of Tranent Medical Practice who are aged 80 years and over who have NOT had their FIRST DOSE of the covid vaccine should contact the surgery on 0300 790 6277 as soon as possible to make an appointment.
