Keep a receipt of this post and today's date. Peter Obi will wish he never stepped foot in NDC. He would realize that Seriake Dickson is a highly authoritarian, prideful leader. Julius Abure was much easier to manage. Dickson loves being the one in charge, Obi will barely have a say in that party. First test, let see who emerges has NDC Senatorial candidate for FCT

@kindit77 @omaakatugba Na you dull pass. You didn't read where he said Nigerians would rather buy premiership team Jersey? And that a Nigerian spent 40m on Arsenal Jersey? So, low purchasing power no dey affect them when it comes to other jerseys?

@omaakatugba A lot of Nigerians are dull, he can't infer that low purchasing power is why a lot of Nigerians cant afford super eagles jersey but claiming is because of lack patriotism

A response from a Nigerian football stake holder to this tweet via WhatsApp. My brother.. How are you doing? Well done.. I've been following your videos from the WC.. Regarding Nigerians and jerseys, it has little to do with income and more to do with lack of patriotism. . Nigerians only remember the national teams when there is a match or tournament at hand.. I have several friends who will spend hard cash to travel for tournaments. Only for them the start asking me for jerseys.. They did prefer to buy English Premier league Jerseys rather than the National team jerseys. I wish you were in Nigeria when arsenal won the Premier League. Even the okada riders were wearing Arsenal Jersey.. I have a friend who bought 1k pieces of relics arsenal jerseys (N40m). He distributed them to arsenal fans around Abuja.. This guy doesn't own one super eagles jersey.. In morocco it was arsenal jersey he was wearing to go watch the eagles. I asked him why he doesn't patronize the national team merchandise. He said the national team doesn't give him joy like Arsenal. I've often opined that our support doesn't go beyond our mouths when compared to other nationals. You were in Ivory Coast for AFCON. You saw how the locals patronized their National team colours.. My brother we have a very long way to go oh. .
Oma Akatugba@omaakatugba

While watching the USA vs. Paraguay game, I noticed that almost everyone in the stadium was wearing the national team jersey. Those jerseys aren’t cheap, they typically cost anywhere from $70 to $100. To me, that says something about the level of disposable income in that country. People can afford to show their support in that way. If you compare that to a country like Nigeria, you rarely see that kind of widespread display. It’s not because people don’t support the team, they do—but many simply can’t afford to spend that much on a jersey.

Yesterday, I had the honour of hosting my brother and partner, His Excellency Peter Obi, at my residence in Abuja. I warmly welcomed him back from his highly productive international trip, and we engaged in frank and productive discussions on key partisan and national issues. Our party, the National Democratic Congress (NDC), remains united. As leaders, we must continue to demonstrate maturity by making the necessary sacrifices and tolerating our differences in pursuit of our shared goal. We are resolute in this mission, and together, we shall ensure that Nigeria is OK. - RMK

A FIFA World Cup host country must guarantee two fundamental principles: the safety of the country — and the unrestricted entry of all qualified teams, officials and referees. The case of referee Omar Artan from Somalia is against one of these obligations. FIFA must never compromise the universality of football. #Fifa #Somalia #GianniInfantino #CAF #OmarAtan #DonaldTrump

Peter Obi said Nnamdi Kanu shouldn’t be in prison because “he was just speaking on radio and calling people names.” Same Nnamdi Kanu that’s leader of IPOB terrorist group. A group that is known for killings, kidnappings, cannibalism and more.

@thepsalmistt @imohumoren What was bought with that money? Coz these were our weapons. We didn't fight Apartheid using guns. We fought the regime using rocks, stones, tyres, assegaais and boycotting their products. That you gave us money is not true. Ask the one who was collecting to tell you the truth.

Fake prophet Japhet. Since your fake permutations about Obi failed woefully while he was in ADC, you are being careful with uttering your gibberish. 🤣🤣🤣 And seeing how people have been shamelessly swallowing their words lately, you never know. Afterall you used to be a data boy for Kwankwaso and always said here that never in this world will Kwankwaso deputize Obi. If not with the latest events in NDC, you would have been everywhere twerking and foaming in the mouth with Obi’s name.

That’s not the real Cristiano you watched yesterday o. He is not that s***. He just didn’t want to hurt his Nigerian fans like @gimbakakanda so he kept it lowkey and did his best to keep Nigeria in the game. This is my issue with Messi. When he is playing your country, he doesn’t care that his fans also come from that country. He is an equal opportunity punisher.

@SodiqTade For me, is as if Seriake Dickson is under pressure... this is not normal anymore, probably APC are pressuring him to frustrate the OK ticket. They are holding his balls. Yoruba do say an ordinary eye can not remove kernel seed from Is mother shell. We have to stand our GROUND!!!

Today, South Africa faces Mexico. It's funny watching some Africans rush to support Mexico because they're angry at South Africans over immigration issues. Your own country isn't at the World Cup. Some have never even qualified. Whether you like South Africa or not, they are carrying an African flag on that pitch today. Supporting Mexico over an African team says more about you than it does about South Africa. Africa first.
