Regarding Nigerians and jerseys, it has little to do with income and more to do with lack of patriotism. . Nigerians only remember the national teams when there is a match or tournament at hand.. I have several friends who will spend hard cash to travel for tournaments. Only for them the start asking me for jerseys.. They did prefer to buy English Premier league Jerseys rather than the National team jerseys. I wish you were in Nigeria when arsenal won the Premier League. Even the okada riders were wearing Arsenal Jersey.. I have a friend who bought 1k pieces of relics arsenal jerseys (N40m). He distributed them to arsenal fans around Abuja..
