@seipent @pebaryan I don't evaluate the output but more into the thinking process. I care more about the process than the answer. I like to know more how do you decide when choosing between explore more edge cases than deep dive into the bottom of the problem.

@tyohan @pebaryan how do you think the ideal candidate should flesh out the approach? is it to go deeper into the business and causality of the dynamic pricing or go into edge cases?

I was interviewing for AI Software Engineer at Sirclo . The test: build a price surge mechanism (Gojek/Grab) with a coding assistant. Most candidates struggle to "think out loud" and identify the root cause: demand higher than supply in clustered zones. They're aware that rush hours, rain, or concert triggered the price surge, but they're not able to identify what those conditions leads into which basically demand > supply. We don't write code anymore; we control coding agents. I'm thinking these skills are what we as software engineer need to have today. linkedin.com/pulse/coding-a…

@pebaryan Sadly no, they assumed they were understand the problem triggered by state like rush hour, rain, or event like concert and jump directly into prompting the how to.

Dulu sempat mencoba query dengan common words kayak Zeus, gacor, dll di content pagenya dan berhasil deteksi beberapa web judol yang masih aktif. Cuma agak hati2 querymya jangan tau2 kena billing jutaan karena datanya sangat massive.

Lagi nyari AI engineer nih buat dua role ini. Kalau kalian punya background software engineer atau data boleh dicoba apply ya. Key kriterianya sudah sering bikin sesuatu dengan coding assistant, karena nanti bakal dichallenge bikin sesuatu from scratch dengan coding assistant.

Ini hal yg saya percaya jg sekarang dan bikin requirement job yg dipost sebelumnya. Most of the time sekarang software engineer memang ideally ga habisin waktu buat nulis kode, tapi fokus ke design the software dari sisi arsitektur, feature scopes, dan lainnya. Kalau kamu masih spend waktu buat nulis kode sendiri mungkin dah saatnya mulai pake coding agent.
