I didn't realize this until charting it, but the number of iOS upgrades that each iPhone gets has increased every two years since the original launch.

@natwallbank Hi Nat. Our email overrides the Apple appointment. Essentially we are unable to do the battery replacements whilst people wait. We also charge £39. Drop off before 10am and if all goes to plan pickup around 4pm. Hopefully the email explains the important stuff.

@ubertechs Hey Mike, just booked an appointment with you via the Apple website for a battery issue on an SE (under warranty). Confirmation seems to suggest dropping off early but we have 2pm appointment. Is it best we just turn up for that?

@ubertechs hi, how long does it take to replace an iPhone 6s battery?

@PopcornWigster1 Hi. If you drop off before 10am, it’s usually ready and tested for 4pm. Often earlier.

@spgmutts We usually fit the crucial ones or Samsung.

@ubertechs cheers for the reply, any recommendations as to which SSD would be best? Only run office & Lightroom/Photoshop on the Mac, all music/media/photos are on a NAS box.

@ubertechs If i can get 2 HD's for my imac, how quick can they be fitted? the HD is on its last legs

@spgmutts Sorry for delay. If this were me, I would fit a 1TB SSD in place of the hard drive and leave it at that. For that it would be £80+VAT. AFAIK the DVD SATA is SATA 1 only, may not be what you want?

@an0key @scoopz We usually photograph and document cases like this to show our customers. Unless you can drop it at our store in Lancaster not much we can do. That said, our out of warranty diagnostic fee on that model is £60+vat. If you can fix it for 100, might be easier.
