The more contemporary comparative data including a RCT shows very similar PSM rates. I only do std-RALP, however I think it’s imp for us to looks at evidence objectively without prejudice

We are 🇬🇧 highest volume #RARP centre. We have strict governance/audit framework for all new techniques. Our retzius sparing programme has gone thru those processes. In our unit Retzius sparing is a safe technique that provides optimal results for patients. Please be reassured.

What if you are patient 1 or 3 or 12 In a surgeon’s experience? Is it ok they run the higher risk of a margin or complication so that (maybe) another might benefit 50 cases later?? #fad

I didn’t conclude that robotic RP was as poor technique. I solved the problems that were causing the higher PSM rate. The same is happening for RS cases but it’s harder.
