I fear we are in a society that cannot handle bold declarations of love or strong feelings because this wasn’t “embarrassing” or “cringe”. lestat was genuinely hurt by the book, and he will take every opportunity to convey that to louis.

we all agree on the fact that azula is a lesbian but we don’t talk enough about how she would actually have a lot of internalized homophobia because of her need to be perfect and failing to adhere to the fire nation’s societal expectations when it comes to who and how she loves
