End of March I ordered VAAs on StockX cause I knew I wouldn’t hit. Shoe is shipped, auth’d, and box is signed for by my wife. I open it when I’m home and it’s just the shoebox, no sneakers. Whole thing reeks of lemon and that offer paper they send is crumpled and stained. If you’ve ordered from StockX you know they just use one layer of tape, but in the pics you can see the clear over the original tape and over the second label. Now that second label was tossed on my original delivery date but for an unknown reason, it was held up. I think this is where the shoes were stolen but was waiting for StockX to finish their “investigation” and tell me no they cannot do anything here or refund even though they shipped it. Maybe they never shipped the shoes and just shipped a shoe box? We’ll never know, so I’m left with destroying my account by charging back after being a customer and seller for 5ish years and this is probably a small % of total value I’ve sent through their app. At least offer to start a claim with FedEx? I’ll get my own going now. End of the day, I’m not blowing my integrity for a pair of sneakers. Can’t wait to get dunked on by their PR team ✌️ TL;DR @stockx delivered me an empty VAA shoe box and denied my claim.

Hey everyone, I have been in mental breakdown past two days and finally to calm myself down. I never cried too hard in my life. Many of you knew me as the guy who turned $300 into $200,000–$300,000 in just a few months trading $SPY. Lately there’s been a lot of positive and negative noise around me, but today hit the hardest. My biggest mistake was pure ignorance and sizing way too big despite solid advice from experienced traders here. I ignored it at times, and today I paid the full price for it. To be honest, I’m left with $10,000. It’s only April, with 8 months left in 2026. I’m determined to build it back up. This lesson will stay with me forever.
