We don’t want to just make money when everything goes up, but this was the data we was limited to for backtesting Zooming out showed glaring signs that this isn’t a sustainable strategy when we’re in an overall downtrend So we’ve change the formula

The current bot this past year would have given you -24.9% returns with MaxDD of -47% with a -0.64 sharpe ratio The new system ? +28.7% return, MaxDD -9.6% and a sharpe ratio of 1.14

From a 1year back test our bot returned -24.9% Our new system has returned +28.7% A completely different picture

The 90 day backtest lied I was limited when creating the bot to a 90 day reference window I now have access to the last 4years including both bear and bull market periods Our bot lost in the bear, not as much as holding but we will lost So im redesigning the logic

Despite the BTC stop loss earlier we are still sitting at 25% profit since the live launch on Saturday That’s why we manage risk

The new portfolio % signals have produced a lower return in the back test Since we are not full porting each signal we’ve dropped from 156% to 31.9% over 90days A steep drop off but still very profitable Working out the kinks now to see if we can bump that number up

Adding account sizing as we speak Instead of “BUY BTC” assuming you’re going all in, despite there also being 3 other trades happening at the same time we are adding % of account based on risk “BUY HYPE” becomes “BUY HYPE 20% of portfolio A better all round portfolio

Stop loss hit I had a feeling this would happen after checking the chart today Unfortunate but long term we have provable growth and profits It’s in no way a get rich quick scheme, we will never market it as such but we can offer long term account growth
