I'd love to encourage everyone currently applying for jobs out there NOT to have AI or ChatGPT assistance with your cover letters. They all look the same, and they're dense word salad. When I see a cover letter clearly written by a human I can't help but sit up and take notice.

Hiring managers are human too, and I'm personally more interested in learning a bit about someone and why they're interested in the job, rather than a chop-and-paste of your CV. The cover letter is a big part of shortlisting. Good luck out there everyone.
