Enhypen’s covers are not for making money. You can think of them more as gifts to the fandom and for the artist to showcase a different side. Compared to everything that Belift earns on, youtube is one of the LOWEST paying. For 1 million views, average earning is 1k-5k. It cost WAY more than that to produce the song, produce the MV, and pay for the licensing to cover the song. Most high production covers rarely recoup the costs it takes to produce it. So there is absolutely zero reason to be boycotting it. The only person it hurts is the artist because they’ve put in so much effort to bring the project to life, and not streaming it is like a spit on their hard work and dedication. So will NOT be boycotting riki’s cover. We’ll be streaming it like crazy instead because he deserves every support after years of waiting for his turn to do a cover. No one is gonna ruin it for him or us!
