Another difficult week for the Jewish community ends, and once again I find myself thinking of my great-grandmother, Lily Ebert - an Auschwitz survivor. She rebuilt her life from the ashes. Quite literally. Our community stands on the shoulders of giants like her - those who endured the unimaginable, yet chose life. What we face today is frightening. It is painful. But just as those who came before us got through far worse, we will get through this too. Shabbat Shalom ❤️
