Akon revealed yesterday that earlier this year he was working on a project and wanted to feature some of the biggest African artists on it. According to him, he reached out to Tyla and pitched the idea, but she reportedly requested $250,000 for her contribution. Akon said he felt the fee was too high and asked if she could lower it to $100,000, but Tyla declined. He added that several other artists, who were offered much less, agreed to be part of the project.
