Our class had Mr. Eladio Jaimez read yo them today to celebrate Read Across America Day. The students really enjoyed the story.

We are adding some holiday cheer to our science time. Our students have done great with their holiday STEM challenges.

A4 My class has multiple options for flexible seating. It’s this way because many of my kids enjoy the ability to move in the room and productivity has increased. I enjoy seeing them work in a comfortable way. #HCISDReads

A3 Some inequities I’ve seen are not just economic but also support. The lack of support and motivation put students in a huge disadvantage even if they have resources available. Motivating them daily is a huge help. #HCISDReads

A2 A good strategy is to preview and model for students to know what is expected. This way they will have a focus or a goal to look towards. #HCISDReads.

A1 My earliest memory was using plicker cards to review for a convections test. It was something out of our routine and my students loved it. It led to them scoring higher on their test. #HCISDReads
