After suffering burns over 60% of his body as a toddler, doctors gave Luca Lutzel little chance of survival. But against all odds, Luca thrived. Now 23, he’s a starting cornerback for the Johns Hopkins football team and a neuroscience major with plans to attend medical school. The accident instilled faith in his parents and in turn, Luca, which he has carried with him to Hopkins. "For the two of us, it has really opened up an opportunity to share our faith, but I think it’s more so for Luca. His faith runs so deep," his father said.
