The biggest problem with most inherently "good" people is:
They think the vast majority of people are good people as well. And because of that, they give them all the benefit of the doubt.

Most people are not "good" people.
They are just "nice" people.
Good people stand for something regardless of how the crowd views them.
Nice people are weak, cowardly, non confrontational and avoid conflict at all cost. They stand for nothing and bow to the mob.
