Today AWS servers went down and so did the government One Login digital ID system Millions of people were suddenly locked out of vital services just because all authentication now runs through one central system hosted on a single commercial cloud. One outage and the whole country grinds to a halt If AWS can crash and take out government logins nationwide. What happens during a cyberattack? What happens in a crisis? Are mainstream media (BBC, ITV, Sky...) exempt from the requirement to "shield under-18s from content deemed harmful to their mental or physical well-being"? If not, then surely MSM are also obliged to check ages before granting access online to their material on events in the Middle East, war zones, etc. It's not just about UK protests. Any protests from anywhere around the world might harm under-18 mental well-being, surely?
