It teaches you to enjoy the process but aim to reach the end.
Because without that end, all your effort may just have been for nothing.
It may not seem like it, but itโs fun over here.

Working in Business Development has taught me to appreciate processes, but not get so caught up in them that I find gratification there instead of in the actual results.

They havenโt signed the contracts yet, and remember, the goal is five financial partners.
Say two out of the five make it through as confirmed partners.
You may not have crushed the goal, but youโve completed the cycle โ successfully too.

Next thing, you secure sales meetings with 10 out of those 50 prospects. Itโs good effort, but you still donโt have five confirmed partners.
You pitch to the best of your ability, but only three reach out afterwards. Youโre getting closeโฆ very close. But the workโs not done.
