Mr. Herbig is requesting 1,300 Chromebooks which could be delivered mid-August. "Every student has their own Chromebook in their own hands." -Could use COVID funds + capital outlay BOE votes 7-0 to approve purchase.

Moving on to Technology Update. -BOE has done great job of being proactive. Last year K-4 got classroom sets of chromebooks as well as 5-12 ELA staff. -Lacking 1300 to be 1:1 district wide -Safety/Equity issue with sharing/cleaning -1400 chromebooks went to families in spring
