Gilmore celebrated Pride Day last week to promote inclusivity and acceptance. The next day, everyone was encouraged to wear something that makes them feel proud. We had an empowering assembly too. This week, we are working on an all school art project to be revealed soon! 🏳️‍🌈

Curated library collections must contain disability, SOGI, 2SLGBTQ+, BIPOC, antiracism, and Truth And Reconciliation voices and works. It will take quite some time for under-representation to achieve parity. Equity isn’t a trend; it’s an ongoing professional obligation—and a joy.
