Any excuse to go to Costco is a good excuse for us! Ms. Williams’ math students designed a worksheet, guidelines, and a rubric for themselves to follow while they calculated surface area and volume of different items at Costco, followed by a trip to the food court!

The Honors Geo class was determined to take a field trip but there was a catch: create an academic lesson worthy of such a trip. They created an entire project with objectives, a worksheet, and rubrics. Surface area and volume were calculated today at Costco! #RTMSSparks

Hey math teacher friends does anyone have a recommendation for a math friendly software or program to create graphs and diagrams that also allows you to create your own labels? I’ve used Google Draw and Geogebra but wondering if there is something better! #iteachmath #mtbos
