@I have to say @danieltemkin_ 's talk and new @mitpress book, Fouty-four Esolangs launched @ptknitwear last night was inspirational! Pairing it here next to Yoko Ono's fluxus Book of instructions because they both belong in the same lineage. Daniels poetic and existential programming languages suggest that there is life within the machine but also that , as in linguistics,, we are programmed by our languages. I Daniel makes eccentric near impossible program languages the way Yoko Ono gives us impossible but inspirational tasks. #esolang #yokoono #programming #computerart

Another preview of three different bodies of work I will represent at a 3 person exhibition entitled “Flux” at @paceuniversityartgallery University Art Gallery at 41 Park Row NYC, opening February 7, 5-7 PM. My works are related by various effects of “water” and this sampling from my "Wateries" series comes from screenshot video series using my custom made AR apps to record my surroundings. The audio is important also important which I have created through various recordings and processes including AI audio responses to various song lyrics addressing notions of support and protection. Thanks Brian for reposting this pic and for Skywriting it in the first place in 2016. Yes indeed here we are again! This time it's consequences will likely be something beyond even 2016. For those who don't know, the Skywrite AR app I created for a show. with Manifest.AR at the Corcoran Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C. In 2013 with the expert collaboration of web designer/artist Kat V Brady. Skywrite was an attempt to democratize this form of messaging, a spacial Twitter of the time directed towards petitioning the government. It was purely participatory artwork allowed users to write or draw skywriting and then GPS locate it over many institutions in DC. I would've liked you to ask the students about the issue of democracy in the election, which is one of the issues many feel is extremely urgent? Do they see the possibility that democracy will end if Trump is elected? How did what they feel about that? Do they agree with Gen Millie and many others that he is a fascist?
