@LissaStanfill @javilsantos @DallasWings i have seen azzi play better without paige on the court. we have this season and about ten games before she got hurt in the notre dame game as evidence. i don't view that as conclusive evidence because of her injury record. but it raises a specter of doubt for me.

No way you watch them two on the court and think they play the same position. Dallas will have the $ to get a big in FA.

@LissaStanfill @javilsantos @DallasWings I think the wings tried to “win now” last year and it blew up in their face. Personally, I just think Azzi and Paige play the same position. And I would be scared to draft her unless I have some free agents at other positions secured.

@javilsantos @wolfsburgfl @DallasWings No, the best player in the draft first. Awa will be good but she still needs to develop. That could take 2-4 years and the avg WNBA career is only 3.5-5 years. Paige is ready now and Awa Fam is not. That's really what it comes down to. Azzi will contribute the most first.
