#OtD 7 Feb 1935 Scottish modernist & working-class radical Lewis Grassic Gibbon died, aged 33. His novel, Sunset Song, was named Scotland's favourite book while A Scots Quair, the trilogy of which it's part, remains one of the greatest pieces of working-class fiction ever written
