طريقة كتابة توغاشي لشخصية كورابيكا في ارك حرب الخلافه هي شيء استثنائي وعبقري. حافظ فيها على رسالته الاساسيه من العمل من دون عن يضر فيها اساس شخصية كورابيكا. المحرك الاساسي للأمير القرمزي هو الانتقام. اساس اناني بشكل مباشر يناقض رسالة العمل التي قدمها الكاتب من رحلة شخصية غون. فالرسالة الجميلة التي لفظها جين لأبنه فوق الشجره تحمل معنى عميق ورائع ومفيد"استمتع بالمنعطفات الصغيرة والرحلات الجانبية في الحياة". رمزيه رائعه تُبين لنا جمال مشقات الحياه والرحله التي تشكلنا كما نحن عليه الآن. على نقيض ذلك تمامًا، كورابيكا يمثل الهوس بالهدف الشخصي واعطائه الأولويه على النفس والأشخاص من حوله. تناقض رائع بين بطلي القصه والرساله منها. ولكن توغاشي بذكائه استطاع تطبيق الرساله في شخصية كورابيكا ودمجها مع ارك حرب الخلافه حاليًا بشكل سلس جدًا. كورابيكا لم يعد غارقًا في بحر الانتقام والحزن، ولا يسعى لاستيراد خلاص عائلته. بل يحاول حماية طفله من رعب حربٍ بغيضه. كورابيكا لم يتخلى عن هدفه، ولكن ليس هو ما يحركه الآن. كورابيكا يناضل للمنعطفات الجانبيه التي كان في يومٍ من الايام يتجاهلها.
