The fact that it's always exactly 18 years old and NEVER 19 or 20 clearly shows they would go even lower if the law and ‘morality’ didn’t hold them back.
@wuivot@furmerly My hair doesn’t grow back fast enough or thick enough for my hair to be patchy or anything at all either, especially after epilating. It grows back way way thinner.
Any hairs that grow back are almost invisible to the eye.
@daisei4444@guacamoulay@yvessirae No I'm a pedo hebe and ephebophile but that's besides the point. The colloquial definition of "anyone under 18" is based on nothing, utterly worthless and contradicts with an existing term
@wuivot@guacamoulay@yvessirae dude idgaf if they aren’t “technically prepubescent” they’re still underage, are you also “technically” an epebophile and not a pedophile ??
@WinterLeast@furmerly I don't get how you people do it. I tried and it was completely unbearable with otc painmeds and scarred me while breaking more hairs than actually pulling roots.
@furmerly I’d rather just epilate myself at home. It’s not permanent but even after only a few months of doing it my hairs grow back like nothing and they’re not painful at all to remove. The first time was HELL Though. I definitely still recommend epilating tho :P
@_aria1_@furmerly Both destroy the follicle, laser is just dependant on the hair's ability to absorb the energy and burn. Alexandrite and (maybe) ruby are more effective for lighter hairs than other higher wavelength lasers.
@furmerly electrolysis physically destroys the follicle, guaranteed. it puts a wire in the follicle and zaps it so it stops working. laser literally just shoots a laser at it. laser doesnt work* on light hairs.
*so ive heard
@furmerly Laser hair removal is less time consuming and cheaper. But it's also not permanent to end only works on dark hairs. If you have a lot of blonde hairs they won't even be removed. Electrolysis is a lot more expensive and takes a lot longer but is one of the only actual permanent
@furmerly ive gotten both, and id recommend lazer if you can. electro is slow, expensive, and hurts like a bitch. id only recommend it if your hair is paler/skin is darker or your hair is less plentiful.
@amverynorm46621@furmerly I don't think this is true laser should be able to completely destroy hair follicles, it's probably just not as effective at that job cause of different hair pigments and depths, especially when only using one wavelength. Electrolysis on the legs would take eons...
@hayakacz@destinedmorgan@furmerly Diode is good for thicker hairs, some systems use multiple wavelengths at the same time but diode is just common cause it's a middle ground that kind of works for everyone
