@paaddingtonnn That's fair. I think I'm a bit stuck in my "tech guy" perspective there, since for me it went pretty smoothly: I picked a server, signed up, checked out how it worked, and that was it.

@xathon_ I think you’re underselling the complexity by a lot tbh, it took me like a week to make an account because none of the servers that popped up fit or were accepting new signups. There was a how to guide that was several pages long on how to use the platform.

@paaddingtonnn It's a self-fulfilling prophecy really. People can't be arsed to spend a few minutes of research into the app they'll use for days, so they aren't on there, so there's not enough content to be worth coming there, and so on

@xathon_ Unless they’ve changed a lot mast is really hard to onboard people into, I mostly stopped using it because I couldn’t find people I wanted to follow

Once upon a time, I was told emotional pieces were "fluff" and had no place in esports. A certain industry loudmouth said female esports reporters always talked about "feelings," implying it was somehow a lesser pursuit. Emotions make esports worth it and I want to show that.

.@LotUDev @zusor_io and @slmnio are some real hidden gems in the scene. Everyone keeps talking about casters and observers but the fancy tools these people can spin up elevate every broadcast. Hope to see these people involved in more higher level broadcasts.
