@g_stanczak Yea the character design (even though they looked kinda chopped in this iteration) and the IP alone should be worth. But maybe they have a hard time balancing making something new vs the purists

No, erase that blasphemy from existence. That should never have been a Star Fox game. Star Fox is on rails space flying/vehicle pew pew fun. Not Legend of Fox: Dino World. I bought it from the 20 dollar bargin bin at Walmart way back then. Was a waste of 20 dollars. I hadn't seen much about it, saw the back and thought, "Oh I've been waiting for a new Star Fox game since 64, looks like it will be like that but with maybe a few gimmick on foot levels. I got a slow boring poorly put together adventure game where the skin of Star Fox, with barely any proper Star Fox gameplay. Star Fox needs to get back to its roots and forget about such mistakes like Star Fax Temperatures.

Every time they come out with a new Star Fox, I feel like it's fine with a great deal of reluctance from the higher ups. Hopefully they reestablish the series as something worth pouring money into.

Whenever I see these star fox games all I really want to see is an open world action rpg where I can run around with fox and shoot people in the face on foot on top of the flying elements. But they donโt do it.

Been saying it since 2015. If a game is just simplified, it's 2x as easy for new players, but 10x easier for experienced players. If a game has characters you love, doing cool stuff together/against each-other, people will justify reasons to keep playing at any level.

Another reminder that fighting games will NEVER be casual friendly. Change a million things about the genre, some for the better, but humans HATE losing. The only sure way to make a fighting game grow with casuals is to make it so cool that they want to push through the pain.
