Breaking News: Israel says it has launched strikes on hundreds of targets in Iran.

Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei issued a statement on the 12th saying that Iran will not give up revenge, will continue to use the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz as a measure, and advised neighboring countries in the region to close U.S. military bases as soon as possible. The statement added that the Assembly expressed respect for the wise governance of the previous two Supreme Leaders over the past 47 years, based on the principles of dignity, independence, and strength. The Assembly of Experts is the highest authority responsible for electing, supervising, and dismissing Iran’s Supreme Leader. Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei was killed on February 28 in attacks carried out by the United States and Israel against Iran.
