Open Letter to Prop Firm CEOs: Regarding cases that too much two days 1. KYC Verification Issues & Funded Denials One major issue in this industry is the timing of KYC verification. At the moment, most firms only request KYC after a trader passes their challenge. This is unfair. Think about it: How long does it take a trader to pass Phase 1 ? How long does it take to complete Phase 2 ? How many sleepless nights and how much stress go into the challenge ? A trader can give his absolute best for months, only to have his KYC rejected in a matter of minutes. All that effort goes to waste, and the firm simply denies him the funded account. This needs to change. Firms should: Allow traders to complete their KYC before purchasing or claiming an account (even giveaway accounts). Or, if KYC is rejected after passing the challenge, provide compensation for the trader’s time and effort. Additionally, firms must choose reliable KYC providers. Many traders have raised concerns about platforms like Veriff, where valid documents are often rejected without proper review. If a KYC provider cannot handle issues fairly and transparently, firms should reconsider using them. 2. Payout Denials Over Small Rule Breaches We all agree that rules are rules. But denying payouts over minor mistakes is discouraging and unfair to traders who have worked so hard to get funded. For example: A trader spends months completing Phase 1 and Phase 2. On the funded account, he accidentally modifies or cancels an order during news. Instead of an instant breach, the system allows him to continue trading, build profit, and wait for payout, only for the firm to deny it at the very end. How can a one, minute mistake erase five months of hard work ? If a trader breaks a rule, the system should act immediately: 1. Instantly breach the account and notify the trader. 2. Or notify and apply fair penalties (e.g., deduct profits, reduce leverage, etc.). What is not fair is allowing someone to keep trading and only rejecting their payout at the very end. That feels like punishment without transparency, and it damages trust between traders and firms. Final Thoughts Traders are not asking for rule free trading. We are asking for fairness and transparency. Let KYC be done upfront, or compensate traders if rejected after the challenge. Enforce rule breaches instantly, not at payout time, breach instantly if mistake made don't allow trader to continue sleeping dreaming with that payout in mind. By making these changes, many issues and complaints will be reduced. Traders, tag the firm or CEO you want to consider this.
