Freedom of expression in art is important, but that shouldn’t become an excuse to normalise vulgarity in mainstream cinema. The lyrics and visuals are filled with double meanings just to gain cheap attention, it raises a genuine question about the role of the censor board. Cinema has the power to influence millions. It should entertain, but not at the cost of basic cultural and social sensitivity.

Vulgarity isn't art! Using double-meaning and offensive lyrics like 'Pahle utha le...' to gain views is a disgrace to the music industry. We need to stop normalizing toxic content that disrespects values and misleads the younger generation. Music labels must prioritize ethics over clicks. 👎🛑 #MusicEthics #CulturalDecay #CleanContent

People were bashing #badshah for his new song. #NoraFatehi new song “#SARKE SARKE” is disappointing on every level, from the lyrics to the presentation. Lyrics* Pahle Uthale, Ander Wo Dale Neeche Ek Boond Na Girae Khali Kar Ke Nikale Mujh Pe Na Girana Mujhe Lagta Hai Dar Bhed Khul Jaae Na Sambhal Ke Jaana Ghar Choosega ya chatega, jo karega kar Teri Bottle Pe Na Pade Kisi Ki Bhi Nazar Shamelessness of the highest order.

They have literally degraded Indian movies because of these vulgarity scenes or languages, there used to be good movies and they used to be liked not only within India bit outside India as well, they had greater impact in near neighborhood. It's a cycle, they push for such vulgarity thinking it is liked by the masses which actually is the case and makes business.

This is bad, but you haven’t seen Bhojpuri songs. I grew up in Uttar Pradesh listening to them, and many of them are extremely vulgar. It has become so normalized that people barely question it. These songs openly objectify women by talking about their private parts and how the protagonist will deal with them. Many of them also promote illegal or extramarital relationships as if they are normal. Yet people dance and celebrate these songs at festivals and weddings without even thinking about it.
