People - understand at this junction every bank and institution will attempt to create their own blockchain thinking that thats what they need to compete. But understand they dont understand the whole point of blockchain is it must be decentralized and public. Else its just another centralized database and wont be adopted. Same thing happened with the internet, all companies made their own intranets, which are now protected cloud services, but the public internet is still the golden goose. IMO based on my discussions with the lobbiests the compromise is the Genius and Clarity Acts. This allows the government to "outsource" the blockchain development and maintenance to the public domain, but issue their own tokens, stable and securities, on all the public blockchains. It is an outsourced CBDC. As a technologist, this is the right architecture and right way to do this. It preserves decentralization and public access and assets, but allows the government to be a user as well without making their own permissioned blockchain. Remember this is the most efficient form of value exchange and storage ever invented, these efficiencies benefit the government, the private sector, the citizens, all humans and all agents. This is money velocity and translates to GDP and lowers all costs. Watch this network effect and the speed in which everything changes. If you blink you will miss it. You can invest in this new infrastructure about to be adopted by everything.

As a multi-TRILLION dollar company, would they be more likely to steal peoples bitcoin OR would they use their tech to put that Bitcoin in ESCROW, pursuant to abandoned property laws? Would they then want to destroy the value of the Bitcoin they hold in escrow, OR would their PROFIT MOTIVE be to help engineer the SOLUTION to protect it? I submit that the answers to these questions are obvious and NOT PRICED IN.
